Week 2 (Thursday)
Praying For Wisdom

Ephesians 4:11-15 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ…

As you pray please pray for these specific requests:
·         Give us wisdom in making disciples
·         Give our Kid City leaders wisdom
·         Give our Sunday School leaders wisdom
·         Give our Life Group leaders wisdom
·         Give our pastor wisdom in his preaching
·         Give our trustees and deacons wisdom

“God, I believe that Your ways are infinitely higher than my ways and Your thoughts are infinitely higher than my thoughts. So I am asking for Your wisdom. I want to trade in the faulty wisdom of this world for the perfect wisdom from You. Lead Calvary Baptist Church according to the direction of Your choosing, and give us the humility to accept whatever that might be. Show us Your will and give us Your wisdom.”

Our mission is simple: Become whole-hearted followers of Jesus Christ. The people of Calvary Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, TX seek to fulfill our mission by accomplishing these four actions: See God - To experience God in fresh ways every week. Share Life - To enjoy biblical community with our church family. Serve Others - To manifest God’s love in tangible acts of service. Stay Connected - To remain in supporting fellowship during the pains of life.
